Hubless, Hollow-Wheel Design

Unlike traditional wheelchair castors, the Bowhead 7s wheelchair castor wheels  utilise a hubless wheel structure that eliminates the typical central hub and spoke arrangement. This means there’s no easy place for hair, fibres, or debris to collect – a frequent source of maintenance in standard castor wheels.

Large-Diameter Bearing:
At the heart of the hubless design is a large stainless-steel bearing system (Enduro SS6810 with 440C stainless balls), providing robust load capacity, reduced rusting potential, and smoother rolling characteristics over a wide variety of surfaces.

Modular & Replaceable Components:
The 7s are not throw away wheelchair castor wheels – individual parts such as polyurethane tyres and bearings can be serviced or replaced independently, offering a lower long-term cost of ownership and easier maintenance. Customisable speed rings are designed compliment your chair and reflect your style. Each pair of 7s comes with 1 set of Speed Rings (1 set = 2 pieces).
