Description

The Triride Tribike E Hybrid is a compact, power-assisted hybrid handcycle attachment designed to convert a manual wheelchair into an independent and versatile outdoor vehicle.

Its designed for users who want the best of both worlds: manual handbike control with the added boost of electric assistance.

It offers a flexible way to enjoy active outdoor mobility while making longer journeys and inclines feel more manageable, ideal for users who want to stay active but appreciate a helping hand when the route gets tougher. The powered assistance can support outdoor travel, while the manual element keeps the experience engaging and energetic.

The first model of the Hybrid Triride Handbike is inspired and realised on Sport Handbike Technology. Racing pedals, handles, adjustable pedal position and great smoothness are just some of the features of this fun handbike.

Motor: 250W hub motor with 5 assistance levels and a max speed of 15.5 mph (25 km/h)

Range: Up to 65 km to 100 km depending on the assistance level used.

Gears: 7-speed Shimano Nexus transmission.

Wheels & Tyres: 16-inch or 20-inch aluminium drive wheel with City or Cross tyre options.

Brakes: Dual braking system combining a disc brake and V-brake with electronic cut-off.

I honestly cannot recommend Adaptiv Mobility highly enough. From the very beginning, Tom and the team were incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about helping me find the right setup for my needs rather than simply “selling a wheelchair.” I recently purchased a pre-loved TiLite ZRA titanium chair through them, and the level of care, attention and time they gave me was exceptional. Tom went above and beyond accommodating my requests, fitting and adjusting my Jay J3 backrest properly, checking positioning and comfort, and making sure the chair truly worked for me personally. Nothing ever felt rushed. What really stood out to me is that Adaptiv Mobility clearly has a genuine passion for sourcing some of the best mobility and adaptive equipment available on the market. Their knowledge of active wheelchairs, adaptive mobility and custom setups is outstanding, and it was genuinely a pleasure to be able to visit them, see the equipment in person and seek their help and expertise. I also really admire the events and community involvement they do to help give disabled people the opportunity to experience adaptive equipment, improve independence and live life more fully. You can tell this is far more than just a business to them. Even though my chair was pre-loved, it genuinely feels premium, beautifully set up and almost like a custom chair made specifically for me. As someone with complex neurological and mobility conditions, having the correct setup is life-changing, and they completely understood that. The chair itself has honestly exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciate the time, patience and care they gave throughout the entire process.
