Description

The Bowhead Reach is the Swiss Army Knife of adaptive mountain bikes. Whether you’re pushing the limits on the trails or enjoying everyday adventure, the Reach is built for you.

The Bowhead Reach is a full suspension, all-electric, adaptive off-road bike designed for ultimate versatility and performance. With two front wheels and one rear wheel, it incorporates a innovative articulating Bowhead Reach FLOW Front End for enhanced manoeuvrability on any terrain.

Outfitted with top-tier mountain bike components, the Reach features premium shocks from FOX and RockShox, and reliable braking power from Magura and Hayes, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride no matter where your adventure takes you.

Flow Articulation

The Bowhead Reach FLOW Front End allows the bike to remain as narrow as any standard mountain bike handlebars while boosting stability, safety, maneuverability, and responsiveness.

The standard Reach articulation is designed with bushings. The new FLOW Pro Bearing Front-End is made with bearings and delivers increased clearance, maneuverability, and performance. Enduro bearings also decrease the amount of maintenance required and deliver an exceptional riding experience, enhancing both durability and efficiency on challenging terrain.

Quad Controls

The Bowhead Reach is fully customisable for quadriplegic riders. Brakes can be controlled using the hand or wrist, with tailored throttle paddle options for added comfort and control. The articulation system is supported by Lean Assist and Lean Limiters, which can be fine-tuned to match the rider’s needs and adjusted as their confidence grows.

I honestly cannot recommend Adaptiv Mobility highly enough. From the very beginning, Tom and the team were incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about helping me find the right setup for my needs rather than simply “selling a wheelchair.” I recently purchased a pre-loved TiLite ZRA titanium chair through them, and the level of care, attention and time they gave me was exceptional. Tom went above and beyond accommodating my requests, fitting and adjusting my Jay J3 backrest properly, checking positioning and comfort, and making sure the chair truly worked for me personally. Nothing ever felt rushed. What really stood out to me is that Adaptiv Mobility clearly has a genuine passion for sourcing some of the best mobility and adaptive equipment available on the market. Their knowledge of active wheelchairs, adaptive mobility and custom setups is outstanding, and it was genuinely a pleasure to be able to visit them, see the equipment in person and seek their help and expertise. I also really admire the events and community involvement they do to help give disabled people the opportunity to experience adaptive equipment, improve independence and live life more fully. You can tell this is far more than just a business to them. Even though my chair was pre-loved, it genuinely feels premium, beautifully set up and almost like a custom chair made specifically for me. As someone with complex neurological and mobility conditions, having the correct setup is life-changing, and they completely understood that. The chair itself has honestly exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciate the time, patience and care they gave throughout the entire process. Thank you again to Tom and everyone at Adaptiv Mobility for all your help and kindness.
