Alber e-Motion M25 / DuoDrive Wheels

The Alber e-Motion M25 & DuoDrive are power-assisted wheelchair wheels that make it easier to push and increases mobility.

Available in two models; the e-Motion M25 provides standard power-assist only when you push the handrims, while the e-motion DuoDrive adds a dedicated controller and hands free Cruise Mode.

e-Motion M25

How it works: Built-in motors and sensors detect when you push the handrims and multiply your pushing power.

Control: You must continuously push the handrims to move.

Braking: It also powers your brakes to safely slow down on descents, protecting your arms and shoulders.

e-Motion DuoDrive

How it works: An upgraded version of the M25 system that includes two switchable driving modes: standard Push-rim Assist and a dedicated Cruise Mode via a Bluetooth controller.

Cruise Control: You use a small wireless control unit to set a constant speed. The wheels drive themselves so you do not need to keep pushing, you only need to steer.

Slopes: They maintains your set speed going up or down inclines of up to 10%.

Convenience: It frees up one hand over longer distances.

With two separate adapters, both Alber e-Motion M25 and DuoDrive models attach to almost any wheelchair. The push rims’ integrated sensors track your drive movement and provide the appropriate amount of motor power whilst still allowing you to easily manoeuvre, steer, and brake.
